merchants, The Linen Tree.
For 30 years this
unique bath shop has offered some of the finest products not
found anywhere else in Topeka, as well as
kitchen linens,
toiletries
and
home fragrances.
The Linen Tree opened its doors in 1977 at the west end
of Brookwood. After another few years located on the Terrace, they
moved to their
present location in 1984.
Owner, Melanie Kline, states "I have
seen a lot of changes in Brookwood over the years, and there
is no place I would rather
be located. The fact that Brookwood has always been a neighborhood
center where locally owned unique shops thrive, is really important
to me".
